kitten drawing: step-by-step

 3 weeks of exams are finally done :) 

and I just miss doing my hobby!

I chose a kitten as a 'drawing object' because kittens are just so cute and lovable and

 can make a cat-lover like me feels happy just by looking at it's cute face and fur. :DDD 

I knew the key to drawing a realistic figure using pencils, is by having a very high patience 

and draw  bit-by-bit. A drawing can take days to complete. but i just couldn't wait to get it

 done, and ended up drawing a not-so-realistic kitten. Gotta try to be more patient next

 time, and learn to make a more realistic drawing, insyaAllah.

drawing business

my Alang suddenly texted me and offered me a drawing business.
he said the price can be negotiated later. so, i agreed x)


the business is actually offered by KakLang's brother-in-law to my Alang.
but Alang gives the work to me. so I was required to draw three cartoons of
boys aged 8,12,and 17 and have to submit the drawings by 8:00 pm


i never draw three large drawings at one time, especially within a short period.
so, i was kinda tired and my hand didn't work that well.
so, the results are not up to what I'd imagined.*sigh*

it feels weird holding a pencil to sketch again.
i haven't drawn anything for 3 months already. and my skills have rotten a bit i think.
'cause as u can see here, this kitten looks fake. like a cartoon.
i actually wanted to make it looks real T.T

using powerpoint

i learned how to draw eyes and face using microsoft powerpoint in ICT class.
and here are the results. =)


I know it's not pretty, but it's okay lah kan for my first try =)
maybe i could do better with a tablet. it's so hard to handle the mouse

idk why but i'm in love with this song-'if i were a boy' by beyonce.. although it has nothing to do with my past experiences (yea, i've never had a bf, u know.hahah) but i think this song has so much meaning and emotion..

i know this illustration is sooo freaking ugly but i've wasted 1/36 of my day (that's 20 minutes, in case ur slow in calculus =P) so i decided to accept it as one of my karya.. *sigh*
